Integrating supply chain data with clinical systems allows for increased collaboration between teams with the goal of improving patient outcomes and reducing waste. A successful clinically integrated supply chain will demonstrate collaboration across clinicians, supply chain and senior IDN leadership to improve product decisions by efficiently utilizing each party’s data along with supplier data. In addition to improved product selection and more efficient supply chain management an effective data integration program should seek to improve clinician satisfaction. In this session learn how three IDNs are incorporating clinical system and supplier data to improve integration between the supply chain and clinicians to improve patient outcomes.

Learning Objectives:

1) Define effective processes of integrating supply chain data with clinical systems to improve clinical outcomes.

2) Outline the benefits of investing in clinical data analysis programs to improve decisions.

3) Construct supplier data integration programs to improve integration between your supply chain, providers and suppliers to benefit patients and lower costs.
