Hybrid ORs: Medical Equipment Planning, Procuring, and Implementing for Various Clinical (Cardiac, Neuro) Applications

Presentation will inform the audience of the nuances of planning, infrastructure, procurement challenges, operations, and the coordination required. We will explore equipment closets, control rooms, adjacencies from design through implementation.

Learning Objectives:

1: Understanding spatial requirements and workflow environments.

2: Major medical equipment and their requirements.

3: Understanding constructability requirements and impacts/constraints.

4: Understanding impacts due to physical/departmental adjacencies.
