Idea Exchanges are designed to go in-depth on challenges impacting the healthcare supply chain. These sessions are designed around peer learning and actively encourage participation from each attendee. Moderators are available to guide discussion but the real learning comes from the ideas generated from attendees.

This session will continue the conversation from last year’s Idea Exchange about effective ways to network -- from tips and best practices to finding the right connections and making the most of your environment.  In this highly interactive session, participants will practice networking while also sharing effective and authentic networking strategies.

The need for strong cybersecurity measures impacts every hospital, every employee and every patient.  This interactive session will explore and discuss cybersecurity concerns and action steps that can be taken to lower business risks.  Each participant will have the opportunity to complete a self-assessment checklist to review and examine the state of their organization’s security posture and policies.  Collaborate with  others in this interactive session on cybersecurity challenges and learn best practices.

The most effective leaders exercise Dimensional Leadership and are skilled at leading from the front, leading from beside, leading from behind, leading from the field, and leading from within. When leaders are aware of the various places from which they lead, they can become agile leaders who transition their leadership style based on the situation.  In this Idea Exchange, participants will engage in conversation about the various ways in which they lead, discuss team/organization dynamics that alter how/from where they lead, and discuss how to expand their leadership effectiveness as a response to the VUCA challenges of the 21st century.
