Explore the true meaning of giving back by investing the first morning of your IDN Summit experience helping to provide resources to a local non-profit organization.  You’ll work in a collaborative environment of ten team members to benefit those less fortunate.  Always popular with IDN Summit attendees the Team Building event is worthwhile, meaningful, and fun!

Breakfast will be provided.  Dress is comfortable.

The Spring 2017 IDN Summit Teambuilding attendees participated in a number of educational group challenges and by the end of the morning had assembled and filled a large number of boxes filled with school supplies for local teachers.  These boxes were then donated to:

A Gift For Teaching serves 338 public schools. There are more than 210,000 kids whose families live at or below the poverty line. But the most shocking number is that 13,000 of those students are homeless.

Picture a child at school trying to write without a pencil, read without books or dream without the tools to put their ideas onto paper. This is the reality for far too many students in our community.  For thousands, these basic learning tools are a luxury.  In fact, more than 65% of the students in Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties come from families that can’t afford lunch, let alone school supplies.

Moved by this need and the fact that teachers, on average, spend $500 – $1,000 out of their own pockets each year to provide basic supplies for their students, philanthropist and nonprofit professional, Gary Landwirth, founded A Gift For Teaching (AGFT) in 1998.
