MedLink is expertly designed to reduce human error and supports a closed-loop medication system. MedLink is unique for its individual drawer controls with advanced software capabilities. It features HL7 integration, allowing patient labels to be selected from existing hospital patient lists rather than manual entry. By scanning the patient wristband, MedLink software automatically opens the correct drawer — reducing human error. Drawers can also be opened and closed individually, and override events (such as opening drawers without scanning a wristband) are captured via reporting software. If patient drawers are left open, the system automatically closes and locks the drawer, preventing unauthorized access to medication.
