JOIN THE IDN SUMMIT IN SUPPORT OF OUR FRIENDS AND COLLEAGUES AFFECTED BY HURRICANES HARVEY AND IRMA
During the Fall IDN Summit we promised to provide information regarding the employee assistance funds established for healthcare workers and hospital patients impacted by Hurricane Harvey. Below is the result of Lisa Ponssa’s outreach for those systems and their employees impacted by Hurricane Harvey. We have also provided information for those affected by Hurrican Irma. HURRICANE HARVEY ASSISTANCE
CHRISTUS Health serves the communities most affected by the storms and floods in south and southeast Texas and southwest Louisiana. CHRISTUS Health Associates and their families live and work within the communities sustaining the most damage and can be assisted by donating to the CHRISTUS Health Relief Fund.
HCA Hope Fund:
Over 16,000 HCA colleagues have been impacted by Hurricane Harvey and the HCA Hope Fund is an employee-run, employee-supported 501(c)(3) charity that provides financial aid and resources to employees after extended illness, injury, disaster or other special situations.
MD Anderson:
The MD Anderson Caring Fund has been reactivated to support employees affected by the flooding from Hurricane Harvey. This fund provides financial assistance to active, regular full and part-time employees and educational appointees who’ve lost their homes or have been temporarily displaced from their homes.
Texas Children’s Hospital:
Giving Fund at Texas Children’s Hospital will care for the victims of Hurricane Harvey and for every child who needs healing impacted by the hurricane.

THA has created the THA Hospital Employee Assistance Fund to assist hospital employees who experienced significant property loss or damage. Please help us provide some relief to our colleagues. We ask everyone in our hospital community here in Texas and beyond to donate now.
HURRICANE IRMA ASSISTANCE
Donated funds will directly assist hospital employees who suffered
significant property loss or damage during Hurricane Irma. All administrative services are being provided in-kind so that 100 percent of your donation will assist those in the FEMA-designated disaster areas. Join us by making
